Add a CommentI picked up this book on a whim having never read Atwood before. It is a well written book and is surprisingly witty. The futuristic theme is thought provoking but a little strange.
A fantastically well thought out post-apocalyptic book which starts en medias res and keeps you involved the whole time, wondering if humanity is really spiraling towards this day.
One of my favorite post-apocalypes books I've read and I think I've read them all now.
Disjointed, lazy, drawwwnnn out. Could've been a short story.
Wow! Interesting and thought provoking - follow it with The Year of the Flood
