To my felllow GONE fans, read this. This is a better start then The Walking Dead. I've tried to read TWD but it never really caught my attention. I don't know if you know this about me but I am not very patient. It's either Get Exciting Now or Back to the Library for you. This book was interesting and intricate. The multi-character perspective never got confusing and worked very well to add suspense into the plot. I will definitely pick up the next volume from the library. Into the favourites shelf you go. :)

Completely enjoyed this series so far. I've wanted to read it for a long time, but when I start a series, I want all the book at once so I can continue uninterrupted. Finally got my chance, and have been reading them ever since. This is one series that's so good, I can wait to get to the end. 5/5

Anyone just getting into comics (or graphic novels) should read this. Anyone that already reads comics should of already read this series. This is one of the best if not the best series ever written.

Y the Last Man is one of the best of graphic novels I have ever read and I've read a lot of them. It's possibly perfect. It's story, pacing, characters, dialogue, art and color all combine to draw you in, carry you along and make you want more, more, more. I heard a lot of great things from other comic readers about Y so I picked up the first book with skepticism. I was sure it had to be overrated. I was wrong. I was quickly converted to one of the book's many fans. The entire series continued to surprise and exceed my expectations for any graphic novel. I loved Y the Last Man!

What would the world be like if all the men died, leaving only one left? Brian K. Vaughan does a wonderful job showing us a world that's unlike any I've ever read. Witty, fast-paced, and full of action, Y the Last Man will entertain readers from cover to cover.

This is a great graphic novel, and in my opinion, one of the best. The concept is excellent and the execution is flawless through all 10 books. The art is fantastic, detailed, and layered with meaning relevant to the story. I consider this series to be a must read, graphic novel or not.

I can clearly see why this series is one of the most acclaimed in the comic industry. This collection is a well set up mystery with a large cast of interesting charcters that are realistic and span the entire globe. There is a number of interesting sub plots and the main storline is propelled along swiftly culminating in a cliffhanger that left me wanting more! I look forward to reading all the other collections in this series of a man and his monkey...
