Didn't see the first one but asked that the library order it and they did...so I'll see it next. Doesn't matter, the sexual tension throughout the movie is unreal! The honesty between them towards the end is part of the tension and all the better for it. Had never even heard of this trilogy and sorry I didn't. I recommend it w/o hesitation.

What is perhaps lost on most people is that this movie is deeply spiritual but not in the western monotheistic sense. This movie hints at aspects of Buddhism, suffering of the ego and presence. I loved this movie!!!!

Better then the first but I think it's only because the movies compliment each other well. Had I not watched them together, I don't think I would have liked them at all.

Great sequal, great movie, great actors. I absolutely loved it! Cannes, she is in the movie 35 y.o. and looks great but has lost those youthful cheeks which is normal and is skinnier now than before, however, he does look much older but I noticed that for a while...I don't think the make up people wanted to make him look old..he just looks old in every movie in the past five years.

Some good closure here. The movie is almost all dialog. the ending is probably the best one you could have for this sequel. Why did the makeup people make them look so old? they're 32 not 42.

I don't know that I've ever been happier about a sequel coming out than about this one. Nor have I waited so long (9 years). It was so worth it to catch up with Jesse and Celine again! Just like the original, the dialogue and the emotions are so authentic; a bit unlike the first, this one feels completely seamless, i.e like it's shot in real-time - Jesse has a plane to catch in less than 2 hours...!

Celine: Do I look any different? [long pause] Celine: I do? Jesse: I'd have to see you naked.

Jesse: In the months leading up to my wedding, I was thinking about you all the time. I mean, even on my way there; I'm in the car, a buddy of mine is driving me downtown and I'm staring out the window, and I think I see you, not far from the church, right? Folding up an umbrella and walking into a deli on the corner of 13th and Broadway. And I thought I was going crazy, but now I think it probably was you. Celine: I lived on 11th and Broadway. Jesse: You see?
