A bleak look at a possible future. But not devoid of hope! Read the Parable of the Talents, which is the second part of this story to see what develops further! A challenging book, with lean, powerful prose.
A very bleak view of the future. Ms. Butler combines religion and despair to create a post-apocalyptic world devoid of hope.
Heavy, but very thought provoking.
