Add a CommentSome unusual cuts to the play, and despite the exceptionally good acting, a curiously unemotional version. The cinematography sometimes gets in the way of the play as well.
David Tennant's performance is exceptional! Although adapted for television, the play is true to the original form of text. Only the costumes and set props provide an update to this classic tale.
