Add a CommentShelby’s mother has always been strong, independent, and knows just what to do. But that’s just what thirteen year old Shelby thinks. But when Shelby’s mother is hurt in a car accident Shelby and her three other sisters must live with their four other fathers. The only problem is the girls have never been separated in their life and they have to protect one another. I would recommend this to anyone 13 or older. A similar book is Kira Kira also by Kadohata, Cynthia.
This book really grasps the flaws we have and embracing them and working towards staying together and enjoying what we have the inner beauty of all of us the part that counts in life
i really enjoyed that book! it kept me into the book till the really last page.
A strong, moving book that talks about 4 very close sisters that have to be separated when their mom gets in an accident. I loved this book.
