Add a CommentSometimes you can judge a book by its cover. This is one of those times. Not too nasty for a spy thriller for an hour you were going to waste anyway-unless you're not so good with violence.
A thrilling one-night ride of a lifetime. All I have to say is if you don't get the chapter titles, you just can't fully appreciate the book.
omg! scuch a suprise twist! very good
This is a fast-paced read. The book is basically one night in a high school students life at his prom. But to understand how he ended up going with the girl he explains the back story. The parallel story is his relationship with his Dad and how he is applying to colleges. I read it in one sitting very entertaining, I would go to the movie of this book. Love the scenes in NYC.
This was a very entertaining book, it was compelling and sucked me right into the story. There were times when I wanted to laugh, and did laugh...during my science exam, cry, and just stare confusied at the pages.
This is a very strange book that reads like a high speed chase - not only because it is filled with high speed chases. Perry is just a normal guy with a high achieving father who likes to run his life. When he is told to take Gobi, their quiet Lithuanian exchange student, to prom instead of playing a gig with his band, the Inchworms, Perry buckles under his father's will. The prom's a bust, which prompts Gobi to dare him to take her to NYC for a night on the town. Gobi isn't who she says she is... she's an assassin. Perry's coerced into driving her around the city so she can cap all five targets in one night. This book is a series of implausible events strung together with death and mayhem. It reminded me a bit of a dark Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist (minus all the profanity). Sure to appeal to teenage boys, especially since it's a quick read at 190 pages.
