Saw the movie, read the book and totally cried my eyes out. When I cry over a book you know it's good. There's really nothing to say, but this was just awesome.

I think this book is good but overrated. Worth reading though.

I have recently ventured in YA fiction and am thoroughly enjoying it. This was a quick little read, and I got attached enough to the characters to cry through the last 30 or so pages.

The dialog is really enjoyable, and I see why it was a great candidate for a movie, but teens don't really talk like that. I will forgive it because it was such a fun book.

I watched the trailer and got pretty interested. I hope to pick up this book at the library next time I go there. :)

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "So sad. But a novel that's filled with love and hope at the same time."

A patron review from the Adult Summer Game: "This was a good book, but a very emotional read at times."

A patron review from the Adult Summer Reading Game: "Decent YA book, but not really as good as I thought it would be given the hype. As an adult reader, I found the characters flat and interchangeable, and the plot dragged for me. For a short book, I didn't zip through it as I thought I would."

Wonderful. I cried at the end, but I am not sure if they were happy or sad tears be cause iI was laughing at the same time. A great summer read. It really pulls the heartstrings.

Aside from atypical characters (not speaking about being terminally ill, but of the 2 protagonist's and 1 antagonist personalities) this story was disappointingly a cliche romance story. Van H was great disappointment and, overall, between him and Augustus, there was frankly a bit too much nonsensical oratorical confabulation. Just like my last sentence, a lot of "big" words were used to feed egos, which at first was gripping and fresh, but became tiring.

Worth reading, because there are some good messages within (how we tend to live life focused on being remembered when we die) but was watered down a bit by certain aspects of characters.

Review for the fault in our stars- hailey caton

The fault in our stars is a sad cancer story and an excellent love story but it is not any ordinary cancer book. In the Fault in our stars we follow Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus waters on an exciting journey of their love. Augustus is in love with hazel but hazel says she is a grenade and doesn’t want to get too close to Augustus. What will happen when Hazel finally falls for Augustus and one of them has bad news?
I thought this was a great book because it tells a really good story that is hard for me to categorize in any type of book genre. The Fault in Our stars maybe a cancer book but it is not an ordinary cancer book its an extraordinary cancer book with a great tale of love and an exciting mini adventure packed in one book and told in about 526 pages.

This is a very good book. A little bit of a twist on a teen love story. Watch out for the sexual references, cursing and the sexual scenes. Otherwise very well written.

This is a magnificent love story about two teens with cancer.
It is all about how Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters spend their time together as they fall in love.
Through ups and downs and terrifying trips to the ER they are hopefuls.
It shows that just because you have cancer, doesn't mean you are a useless game piece on the board of life.
This story will captivate you from beginning to end, as you experience the roller coaster ride that is their lives.
It is a must read for all.

"I am," he said. He was staring at me, and I could see the corners of his eyes crinkling. "I'm in love with you, and I'm not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I am in love with you.”

"I'm on a rollercoaster that only goes up, my friend" -Augustus Waters

"Why are you looking at me like that?"
