This book made me cry, it made me laugh, and it kept me excited for what was to come next. This book was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it and you won't regret reading it. This story is another beautifully written novel that is however, tragic. It's a very good young adult book that leads you excited to explore adult fiction. It's romance based with fiction, and very good story. Touched my heart and is a must read.

I felt like this book didn't let me know Hazel Grace as a character, but more of someone who was part of a couple. If I had had the chance to know Hazel and Augustus more as individuals it would have been easier for me to grieve Gus's death.

Very captivating book. I love the place shifts in the story. The fast paced motion of the plot. Teenagers with the minds of adults? Maybe they were more of teens. Still, it is a great story of love and compassion.

According to the OPL, two stars means "ok". That's what I'm rating it.

I didn't cry while reading the book nor while watching the film. The only part I found as almost-tear-worthy was when Augustus was stuck at the gas station. I felt sad that he felt that way about himself.

The characters... I just felt that their romance and sadness was a bit unrealistic and it made it harder to... not relate, but at least believe it.

It's OK. I think it's highly overrated.

I have a love/hate relationship with this book. It's full of nuggets of wisdom and enjoyable metaphors and similes, but it's also full of annoying teenageriness and contains highly improbably occurrences. The ending in particular was most infuriating for its ridiculousness. Trying not to make this a spoiler: why would that person write that letter to that other person, given the way that other person has behaved earlier and given how the subject of the letter felt about that other person? It stretches credulity to the breaking point and I cannot forgive the author for such a contrived and silly wrap-up.

Really good! I give an infinity and beyond of ten for this book! Hazel and Augustus (or Gus for short) are two people battling with cancer. Hazel met Gus in a cancer support group at a church her mom made her go to. Soon Gus joined the group too and immediately started flirting with Hazel. Then the two love birds starting hitting it off and the next thing you know they're flying to a country (I'm not going to tell you the name so I don't spoil it) and meeting Hazel's inspiring author. Enjoy this story and I highly recommend it to people that are into romance and heart warming stories! This book has changed the way I look and feel about other people and hopefully it will do the same for you! John Green is an amazing author and if you want a good book to make you feel something special then read this book!

Review for the fault in our stars- hailey caton

The fault in our stars is a sad cancer story and an excellent love story but it is not any ordinary cancer book. In the Fault in our stars we follow Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus waters on an exciting journey of their love. Augustus is in love with hazel but hazel says she is a grenade and doesn’t want to get too close to Augustus. What will happen when Hazel finally falls for Augustus and one of them has bad news?
I thought this was a great book because it tells a really good story that is hard for me to categorize in any type of book genre. The Fault in Our stars maybe a cancer book but it is not an ordinary cancer book its an extraordinary cancer book with a great tale of love and an exciting mini adventure packed in one book and told in about 526 pages.

This is a very good book. A little bit of a twist on a teen love story. Watch out for the sexual references, cursing and the sexual scenes. Otherwise very well written.

This is a magnificent love story about two teens with cancer.
It is all about how Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters spend their time together as they fall in love.
Through ups and downs and terrifying trips to the ER they are hopefuls.
It shows that just because you have cancer, doesn't mean you are a useless game piece on the board of life.
This story will captivate you from beginning to end, as you experience the roller coaster ride that is their lives.
It is a must read for all.
