"Why do all your brilliant ideas involve felonies?"
-Kathy Reichs, Virals
“I can't believe you jokers fixed it." Hi was picking his way down to the beach.
"Believe it, clown. Too much brain power here to fail." Still pumped, Shelton threw another palm Ben's way.
"Oh, I'm sure." Hi streched, yawned. "It was something highly technical, I suppose? Something requiring mechanical ability? Nothing as simple as tightening a wire or flippin a switch, right?"
Ben reddened. Shelton developed an intrest in his sneakers.
Score one for Hi.”

Great teen series by the author of Bones. Smart, witty and fun.
Liked the setting and the heroine’s love of science. Disliked every other female character in the book(minus SPOILER) being written as unintelligent and shallow. A good book for when you need to stay up all night to go find elk.
A fast-paced, explosive adventure that will keep you hooked the whole journey. I liked the relatable main characters and the gripping mystery. I didn’t like the unbelievable character of Hannah (it didn't make sense at all) and Tory's shallow tendency to crush on the hottest guy at school. The merits far outweigh the flaws, however, and I have a strong urge to continue the series.
I loved This book. I love Kathy Reichs TV series 'Bones' and as soon as I heard about Virals, I knew I had to read it. It certainly lived up to my expectations! A thrilling read!
sooooo good
I'm a big fan of Kathy Reichs' Temperance Brennan series as well as Bones, the TV series it's vaguely based on. When I heard about Virals, I knew I had to read it. While it's very different from her other work, Virals is very similar in both the scientific atmosphere and deep character development.
loved it!
i felt reichs had made a great mix of suspense action drama humor and any other element needed to make a book great
