Comprehensive text complete with colour illustrations (not photographs) and a key at the beginning for quicker identification.
First half of the book idenitfies the genus and lists the corresponding species with a few words on the major defining features while the second half focuses on deeper species description. All mushrooms are labelled as "edible", "non-edible", "not recommended for eating" or "poisonous". The edible ones further identify the taste and quality.
Also has a small section depicting the various shapes of fruiting bodies, an illustrated glossary as well as a regular glossary.
