I checked out this book hoping to find the foods that my family used to eat when we lived in Hawaii: musubi, manapua, poke, laulau, all the local grinds. This book is pretty but has none of that. Instead, the recipes in here are for food the tourists eat. So, if you visited Maui and have fond memories of this restaurant, this book is a great resource.
