We read every book, paper and article published on the JFK assassination, in multiple languages, and this was one of the books which nothing was taken from, but in going back to check on something, in retrospect, there is gold on pp. 122 -- 124, p. 127, and for an accurate take on former media type, Larry King, please see bottom page note on p. 143.
He also correctly recounts Posner's balderdash book, and how Posner was recruited and paid handsomely to write it. But he makes some errors throughout [calls Thane Eugene Cesar a Cuban-American, Cesar wasn't and isn't that], and various others, while not including important facts and details. Not really worth reading, unless you've read all the other books. AND MOST IMPORTANT ERROR: takes Gen. Landale's remarks as the biblical truth - - as Fletcher Prouty correctly pointed out, Lansdale was not only in Dallas that day of the murder of President Kennedy, he can be viewed walking by the three Grassy Knoll men, being escorted by the two lackadaisical DPD policemen, giving them the nod [photos exist in case you've never seen them and they are online]. Other items he'll get one or more details wrong, but those pages recounted on top [covering the OAS, or French fascist Secret Army Organization, the Zapruder film and Larry King are golden! Also, some items Mr. Turner states as fact when there are contradictory stories extant on them, so therefore unverifiable [e.g., that RFK was involved in planning on subversion against Cuba after the Bay of Pigs fiasco, as opposed to other more reliable, but difficult to absolutely verify, recountings that RFK was sighted at the Florida or Louisiana training base because he was shutting down the illegal and nonsanctioned assassination bureau set up by Harvey].
