a nicely laid out book on garden design with both photographs of gardens and artists drawings of design. Beware the drawings as a few show flowers in bloom that would not likely ever be in bloom at the same time. I liked the highlighting of design elements and the step by step creation of the author's border at the end of the book. Worthwhile.
