Brooklyn Nine-nine

Season Three

DVD - 2016
Average Rating:

Brooklyn's finest are back and better than ever. Detective Jake Peralta is on a mission to be the "most amazing detective-slash-genius" ever. The season is full of shake ups and shenanigans as the crew deals with a new boss, suspicious romances, a badly planned "babymoon," undercover mayhem and outrageously funny body cam shots.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is consistently clever and very funny. With his dry humor and delivery, Andre Braugher as Captain Raymond Holt is my favorite part of the excellent ensemble cast. I think the writers/creators do a good job of continually changing things up and keeping it interesting.

I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It has the rare balance of handling both intelligent wit and slapstick comedy incredibly well. I rated season 3 only 4 stars because I did not enjoy the Florida story line nor the Rosa-Pimento story line. Other than that, it was as genuinely excellent as ever!

I've have seen all the seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine so far and they get funnier year after year. I found this season excellent because it was one of the funniest seasons of all time.

Charles: How are we going to get past them without a gun fight?
Jake: I'll tell you how John McClane would do it, the vents.
Charles: Blast the A/C, they get chilly, they leave to find sweaters.
Jake: No, we're going to climb through them.
Charles: Even better, classic use of vents.
Episode: Yippie Kayak

Sergeant Jeffords: Sorry that wasn't Scar-Joe.
Rosa: I don't want to talk about it. Talking about your feelings is for losers.
Sergeant Jeffords: I guess Adele's a loser in your world.
Episode: Maximum Security
