Film about bands out of Sheffield, England. When I think of Sheffield, I think of the film "Full Monty" guys who worked in a steel mill and end up putting on a show at a strip club. The bands out of Sheffield germinated out of the post-punk era, which included the Human League, ABC, Cabaret Voltaire, Heaven 17 and were essentially electronic pop (said Kraftwerk were an influence). One guy said, "we just wanted to make noise" most of these were successful during 1979 to 1982. They made their own music scene; that was noise, pop, and art.
