I can't remember why I picked up this book but am sure glad I did: the writing is hilarious, characters a riot, and the recipes a vomitous delight. Highly recommend to anyone with a dry sense of humor.

Very, very funny. A parody of books by ex-pat Brits who have moved to the continental countryside (Tuscany, Provence, Spain....)
