This movie is a heartwarming, and occasionally heart-breaking, film about a lonely little girl, her gruff but ultimately loving father, and the small town they live in. The story does rely on the little girl's belief in Santa Claus and his reindeer, and it is touching. The filming style is a little off, with the tone veering between the serious real life problems that Jessica and her family face, and the belief that Jessica has that the reindeer she finds is Santa's Prancer. But overall, it is a really good Christmas film to watch with your family.

This is a good childrens' story. It was heart-warming and although carried a large dose of family tension throughout, in the end, as all good stories should, it ended well.
