Traveling picture, beautiful to see Hong Kong with its colonial age when Sampans and Big eye junks was the norm; compare to its current skyscraper air polluted situation.
The old sections of Hongkong have not changed much; but dress, more cars...just so enjoy the cinema scope cameras ability to bring the Imax appearence. The motion compay of the time sure did not cheap out on Clark gables boat or the high powered weapon he had , enjoyed how they used real chinese instead of white washed role playing.

At 54, Gable still can pull off the beefcake role. It's Susan Hayward and the rest of the cast that drags this Cold War Hong Kong yarn down to the dregs. There's nothing to recommend this film other than to imagine oneself back in the 1950s, taking the wife to the movies after dinner out. Middle- to low-brow fare pretending it's something higher. In other words, America.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way.
