I really like Batgirl (even though I don't like her origin story) and those episodes are pretty bad.

This season, we get two new faces to add to the cast: Batgirl and Poison Ivy! Batman has to adjust to having a spirited, headstrong sidekick as he fights Penguin, Joker, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, and some new villains (Gearhead, Maximilian Zeus, and D.A.V.E.). Plus, we get another piece of the legend when Arkham psychologist Hugo Strange begins to reveal his own personal character, giving Batman another reason to wonder whether he's overlooked one of Gotham's most dangerous criminals of all.
I will admit, I am liking the addition of Batgirl. She's spunky and cool without being annoying, and she doesn't take away from the Batman. Also, since she's not in every single episode, Batman gets some episodes to himself, which I'm personally glad of. I like that he has Batgirl as a sidekick now, but sometimes I just want to see the Bat do his thing as a crime fighter. And the show respects that.
A great tv series. Although sometimes there are some scary moments not suited for younger children, definitely something worthwhile for the older kids to watch. I'll be continuing the series.
