The movie was okay, considering it's a 1970s film. But the footage of a Seattle I've never seen is worth watching even if you don't care for the movie. Caan and Mason create interestingly flawed characters.
VERY GOOD 1973 film with excellent scenery of downtown Seattle. Also interesting romantic triangle with sailor - and red light woman and her son.
Not a great film, gets a bit boring and predictable at times. Caan's performance is very good considering it was made just after his much different work in the Godfather. Kirk Calloway is also very good. However this film is great for its footage of old, gritty downtown Seattle. A lot of it takes place on 1st Ave when it was more or less the Red Light district and had some real character to it. A good film to watch for those interested in Seattle history.
Quintessential Seattle 1970's postcard. The market, the waterfront the old 1st avenue all shine in this very sweet, charming and sometimes gritty movie.
Filmed in Seattle in 1973
