Amazing, amazing, AMAZING!!!!!!
Quickly became one of my all-time favorite romances!! WOW! :-)
Mr. DARCY (Elliot Cowan), is sexy as hell, especially renacting the lake scene, with the poets shirt!
Fantastically acted, and soooooo creative a premise.
I was mesmerized! :-)
Totally fresh and delightfully unpredictable, and the sets and costumes are gorgeous!
Wish I was an actress /extra in this film!

Enjoyable romp, notwithstanding unexplained time-travel of our lead Jemima Rooper back to Jane Austen's novels times. Just fun watching how her modern take messes with original story.

You don't need to be an Austen maven to enjoy this imaginative alternative version of P&P--just a glancing awareness of the famous novel will do. This film exceeds even Pride and Prejudice and Zombies in its way-out-there premise and handsome execution.
Packaged from four TV episodes, it is quite long at three hours, but unless you work 14-hour days, seven days a week, you can probably find the time to slide onto your sofa and enjoy!

A confused Mr. Bingley is played here by Tom Mison. Mison is best known these days for his role as Ichabod Crane, the lead character in TV's "Sleepy Hollow". What a contrast! His two characters are opposites.

Pretty good. Just make sure you fast forward the super awkward scene when the main character has her Mr. Darcy reenact the lake scene from the Colin Firth mini-series (you know the one).

Lost in Austen is a whimsical tale about a Jane Austen aficionado who gets transported via a porthole in her 21st Century home to the Victorian world of Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. I was sceptical about whether this would keep my interest for a full three hours, but indeed it did. The cast was composed of some wonderfully capable actors and the sets had all of the trappings one would expect from a top-end period production. This is plenty of touching moments along with humourous ones aimed directly at the hearts and minds of the millions of Jane Austen fans. Lost in Austen is a delightful, quirky and surprisingly enjoyable twist on a venerable old literary standard.

Loved the concept, but was disappointed... boring.

Seems like a fun premise: a young woman from modern London who's mad about Austen exchanges places with Elizabeth Bennet, and finds the characters straying from the plot. But where the novel recognizes the complexity of money, class, and marriage, the movie dumbs everything down to "Love Above All." Amanda manages to get a terrible marriage "annulled" on the promise that she leave immediately, and yet, she stays and stays, and still the marriage is on track to be annulled. That's the level of logic and consistency for you. A wretched movie, but enjoyable because of the supporting characters (I didn't like Amanda).

A great movie about whhat we all wish would happen she goes into her favorite book! The problem is that everything is going wrong. Can she keep the book following the story line or will everything go wrong.

Sexual Content: there is a scene where one girl tries to kiss another, and it is very sensual to say the least. i felt very uncomfortable watching it, not because it wasn't a boy and a girl, but because of the way it came about, the way they acted. i would've felt just as uncomfortable if it was a boy and a girl.
