Ernie and Charlie Borgman board a 29-foot Chinese junk boat and set sail for a 1,627-mile journey through the Inside Passage. The ten-week journey takes them along the Canadian and Alaskan coast, along the Inside Passage, and out into the icy waters of the Gulf of Alaska. Through torrents of rain and raging waters, engine trouble, and broken masts, the two men come face to face with adventure.

Yeeesh! This is horrible. I love adventure documentaries but I mostly like ones about people going on real adventures. This movie is about three well off white people who happen to be hippies going to Alaska on an old boat.

The narrator is awful. "It's not the journey that makes the man, it's the man that makes the journey"

These horrendous proverbs are scattered throughout the movie and they all sound like they came out of a Hallmark card.

1 star out of 5. Avoid!
