I like dark comedies, I like weird and quirky movies, and I like oddball main characters, but I couldn’t even finish this movie. There are no laughs and no reason to care about any of the characters. John C. Reilly and Creed Bratton couldn’t save this one.

Cute comedy about misfit kid growing up/growing as a person both personally and socially. The kind and unique principal does as best as he can do to be a good aspect in the selected "misfits" life.

This movie won't be everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed it thoroughly being another young kid who didn't fit it and who has come to value greatly the unfortunately rare kindness and support of others.

It does make a difference.

An above average coming of age teen dark dramedy. Good performances bookended with a whole lot of awkwardness.

It was O.K for a home TV movie. I was entertained. But it was NOT worth the long library wait or the
price to rent from a Red Box.

Almost wanted to beat the heck out of terri myself for being so lame.

Ho Hum... what a yawner... This ain't the John C. Reilly I like... He's best when he's funny! When he gets all serious (like - here) - he gets darn right creepy! And unfortunately, the rest of the cast can't save this film either. It sucked... sorry.

This film kept my interest and is off the beaten path. If you enjoy independent films, you might enjoy this one.

Fair - As I was being drawn into the film despite its lack lustre pacing and simple story, I couldn't help comparing this film to Napolean Dynamite. The biggest difference between the two is the laughs - Terri provides some minor smirks whereas Napolean delivers the goods. The other downer in Terri is some of the inappropriate scenes that deal with teenage sexuality; is there nothing that Hollywood will show on the silver screen. Definitely gone are the days of Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland teenage love affairs. Too bad. But about the film, I thought the third act just fell through the floor - nothing left for me to enjoy or recommend.

Unconventional teen comedy/drama. Its strength lies in its different approach to the genre.
