Nuclear Aftershocks --- PBS. Exremely relevant, though provoking andand very recent. This presentation from the PBS series Frontline examines the nuclear disaster in Fukushima ansd the effect this has had on the nuclear industry worldwide. Since the event, no Japanese nuclear power plants have had their operating permits renewed. By the ends of the year, there will be no operation nuclear power plants left. In the wake of the accident, German authorities decided unanimously to shutter the country’s nuclear plants and to place their hope and trust in an ongoing renewable energy development.
The film is highly informative; the graphics very relevant;the camera work first rate; the “experts” --- the spokespersons for the nuclear reactors, the displaced victims of the nuclear accident, the politicians are all presented. A must see video if you are concerned about the nuclear power

Fascinating, informative, and given the potential threats, really quite disturbing. Examines the pros and cons of nuclear power, particularly in the face of disasters, and how the Japan quake has had echoes across the world.
