VERY GOOD example of 'docufilm' (new to me term, I got from the OTB Wikipedia article), where a tiny plot is tacked on to the primary film purpose - documentation of actual Bowery. Excellent street, and inside various bars, hotels and more footage. Apparently the film itself has been restored and looks very good.
