"Robyn's scared of dogs--like, really scared. But she agrees to spend her summer working at an animal shelter anyway. (It's a long story.) Robyn soon discovers that many juvenile offenders also volunteer at the shelter--including Nick Di'Angelo, a boy from Robyn's past. A boy she hoped never to see again. Nick has a talent for getting into trouble, but after his latest arrest, Robyn suspects that he just might be innocent. And she sets out to prove it"--P. [2] of cover.

this series is amazing. I've been following it since i was a preteen and even now, i keep up to date with the books. Full of great suspense, adventure, and mystery. Norah McClintock is brilliant.

A wounderfull book; would recommend it to anyone who loves an easy read, but a good mystery. This book doesn't go too technical, but still keeps you reading with great details and plot.

Would also be great for anyone who is doing a report or essay.

( Warning : People that are reading in class or such migth get sucked in and caught in a daze of the pages.)

A good teen mystery series. Robyn Hunter, the main character, gets involved in an animal rights demonstration. When she gets in the middle of an attack at the demonstration, she gets blamed for the accident that happens. Her penance is to volunteer at an animal shelter for the summer where she meets Nick. She learns some valuable lessons about herself and others over the summer--things are'nt always what they seem.
