English title: "Swordsman and Enchantress"
A deep cut from the prolific and influential Shaw Brothers, whose better-known films include "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin" and "Eight-Diagram Pole Fighter." Basically all the kung-fu references that Wu-Tang makes are to Shaw Bros films. This has something of a fantasy feel and look to it, even though it avoids supernatural elements. The plot is more convoluted than it needs to be, but the fighting, which is why you're here, is great and stylish. It also has a female villain, which is somewhat rare in these films. There's a spearman too, but I guess that would've made the title too long. Directed by Yuen Chor.
