A great DVD set for the family. Movie-loving kids need to know cinema's early history even if it is in black and white and no one speaks! This set does a nice job with that, presenting history, early technique, and introducing who Mary Pickford was. (If watching with kids, be sure to select the option with the intro and closing, so they can get the background.) Heck, even adults will learn a fun fact or two!
