Well written by 2 veterans of ABC news who have covered legal issues over the decades. The book covers different issues raised by the death penalty, and for me, also revealed how divided the Supreme Court Justices have been, and how their decisions have often sidestepped clarifying key questions. The book ends with their personal opinion on the death penalty. A very good book that has impacted my own views on capital punishment in the US.
