I suggest to skip this book and get something else.
There needs to be a chart of how the various tribes are inter-connected and also some definitions, because there are terms that aren't clear, especially for the age group that this is supposed to be written for. NOT til I read another book did I learn that Agency Indians are people who live on a Reservation. The relations between the various tribes aren't clear...it isn't even clear if Oglala are part of the Sioux tribe or part of a different tribe.
The book starts off describing a battle...the one before Little Bighorn, but then goes back in time. It would have been better to just start with the birth of Crazy Horse and go chronological from there. Also, the author doesn't explain the battles very clearly.
