There really isn't that much to this movie, and you'll probably forget it within five minutes after viewing, although you may remember the actress, Manuela Martelli, for some time afterwards, as she is a fetching young lady.
Probably this movie is primarily a vehicle for her talent, and Rutger Hauer gives a decent performance - - hopefully a notch up from his film, Hobo With a Shotgun, but simply not particularly memorable.

It was nice to see Rutger Hauer in a recent film. It was compared by one critic to “Hitchcock vintage.” There was a crime element in the film, but I fail to see much relationship to the best of Hitchcock. I did note one comparison. In the last scenes of the film, we see the first outside shot of the building where our bumbling wanta-be criminals are living. In Hitchcock’s “Rear Window” we never get a photo shot looking towards the window from the outside until nearly the end of the film. Maybe there were other comparisons that I did not catch, but if I were a critic, I would be more careful in making comparisons.
