Abby may have a loving family and all of the creature comforts in life, but even so, she can't fight a growing feeling of discontent. That all changes the day a speeding baseball smacks into Abby's skull causing a concussion and unleashing her latent sexuality that sends her on an erotic journey.
This should have been more compelling, give the basic premise: discontented woman in a lesbian couple and family does some hooking on the side. Strangely, it was not at all compelling, despite a few intriguing situations: lezzer clients who are variously cynical, masochistic, overweight, etc. There's even a social meeting with a client. Startling that such promise could result in what verges on the ho-hum.

It felt like an episode of "Desperate Housewives" from a lesbian viewpoint. Not that I've actually seen "Desperate Housewives," mind you, but this is probably similar to it; only with better actors.

Great lesbian soft-core fantasy vehicle.
Sure to find a following.
Don't let the cheesy premise fool you. This one is a powerfully written, extremely well-acted examination of a suburban housewife caught in a malaise of a boring life and a cooling marriage. Robin Weigert soars as Abby, who turns to prostitution to escape from the stifling convention her suburban life has become.
