As a series penned by Neil Gaiman, who in the past has been more consistent, it has a couple small holes that are needed to drive the truck of a story through. I read the series when it came out and it was okay, better than marvel's main plot line 'Civil War', in my opinion. The idea of making this animation is great, the execution is lame. The art of the comic was different, blocky yet whimsical. I've seriously watched better episodes of South Park though, better marvel cartoon animations for sure. Skip it, save your time and read the comic instead.

You can't keep a good story down regardless of the medium or the type of animation. This proves it. Taking the best parts of the graphic novel they give you an intriguing story about godlike eternal beings who have forgotten who they are.
