My reading theme this year is all things Horror (gory horror, funny horror, spooky horror, classic horror, etc). Thanks to this book I’m going to seriously rethink this theme plan. I’m not sure I can do a year of horror like this. ME, the horror fan(anatic)! This comes as more a shock to me than you may imagine.

This novel is seriously disturbing, completely unnerving, painstakingly graphic, brutally honest - in all: an INCREDIBLY HORRIFIYING story in every sense of the word.

You think you can handle a bunch of teen Boy Scouts turned New-Level-Nightmare Lord of the Flies who are trying to survive an attack by a creature that can only be described as a hybrid Frankenstein *and* his Monster/Zombie/Psychopath Murder/Wendigo/TAPE WORM???

No. You can’t handle this.

But I double dog dare you to try . . .

Note: squeamish? Delicate stomach? Proceed with caution.
