A one-volume biographical dictionary of poets in the English language, with a strong emphasis on the USA and UK, and a relative neglect of India and East and West Africa, but less neglect of Caribbean poets. Has a tiny section at the end on Groups And Movements, and no entries for theories. A solid scholarly reference work, to be dipped into as needed rather than read sequentially.
