Dasha Kelly is a masterful writer. I fell in love with the protagonist, who is heartbreaking, charming, and so very brave. CeCe adapts from a very young age to a life of responsibility. Her mother suffers from debilitating depression, and little CeCe is the only one who can keep track of bills, groceries, and appointments. The narration switches from childhood to adulthood throughout, and I was captivated the entire time. Please read!
