Former kid-show host Rainbow Randolph hates his squeaky-clean replacement, Sheldon Mopes, a.k.a. Smoochy the Rhino. Randolph is insanely obsessed with getting his job back, but Smoochy's a smash, and their war for kid-vid supremacy places a jaded "KidNet" producer in the middle of a Rainbow/Rhino smackdown.

Garbage. Half a star earned for the 'my step-dad's not mean he's just adjusting' song.

If you eve watched a Barney episode or the Teletubbies, you owe yourself to watch this. Robin Williams was given carte blanche by director Danny DeVito to create a slimy child star. This is a dark humor comedy. It is a rant against loud coloured large objects with permanent smiles on their faces. The performance by John Stewart made me watch it a second time. The real star is Pam Ferris, who plays Tommy Cotter. She steals all the scenes that she appears in and almost overlaps Edward Norton. It is a laugh filled hoot.
