Julia Louis-Dreyfus is one of the best fictional POTUS ever. Move over Daniel Day-Lewis, Morgan Freeman, Bill Pullman (his speech in the original Independence Day). JLD is the best.

It's hard to discuss VEEP without giving things away. Well, for one, it's consistent. It's still fast, sharp, and politically charged. The language is brash, but it all seems necessary to get the job done. This season, the job itself has changed, with more responsibility than ever on Selina's shoulders and the shoulders of those huddled around her. I appreciate the rapid-fire one-liners and the quippy disdain they all seem to have for one another, something that has carried this series through season after season. I definitely like the parallels you can draw between this show and the reality of the political sphere in which we live. It's great to watch a political show that is funny, an escape from the devious HOUSE OF CARDS and the salacious SCANDAL. Life on the hill can be hilarious. I recommend it.

This show keeps getting sharper and funnier... and it's hard to escape the feeling that this comedy show is mirroring a lot of what's really happening behind the scenes in the real world.

This is so funny. After season three so accurately mocked the primaries, season four takes on the election.

Selina, now relegated to the Presidency after the surprising resignation of the President, tries to act presidential to the voters, using the same "say nothing" skills that got her through the primaries. The season ends with one of the funniest premises ever: can there be a tie?

We'll find out in season five. But remember, the show IS titled VEEP.
