Ray Ambler, the curator of the library's crime fiction collection, joins forces with NYPD homicide detective Mike Cosgrove in hopes of bringing a murderer to justice. Add a CommentThis is a thrillingly bad book. At every level from punctuation to plot, it staggers from one embarrassment to another. Ambrose Bierce supposedly said, "The covers of this book are too far apart." Amen. Let us hope that Mr. Lehane returns to bartending.
This book is so-so. Writer needs help with his grammar, which is bothering me. I'll probably return it without finishing it also.
