It takes Hector the bear isolating himself to realize the peace and quiet isn't as great as his sometimes-annoying chatty bird friend. My three-year-old son thinks this book is hilarious and seems to find a new animal in the jungle every time we read it...and we've read it dozens of times.

This is a very cute picture book. I like the illustrations and color palette a lot. Adult readers who are introverts may relate to Hector's frustrations with Hummingbird, his very talkative friend. Children can watch for the other jungle animals in the background.
