Lots of helpful tips, I found this one more practical for someone in their 20s or 30s who is looking for fun experiences without paying too much for lodging. I also appreciated having the digital version with me on my trip. Some tips: I didn't book anything more than a few days in advance (flights, rail trips, hotels) and I was fine (I had been stressed out about planning everything in advance but it worked out fine just booking as I went). Have Google Translate on your phone and use it to do live translations of text. Also, use Google Maps to navigate public transportation. Have fun! (Also, July is insanely hot and humid :P )
