Chapter 8: Head Start Was Based on the Belief That Early Education Can Eradicate Poverty
So, if we all have superior education, those areas beyond our control will suddenly be in our control?!?!?!?!?
How very absurd a motivation? That's akin to saying that if someone trains as a soldier all their life, they will be impervious to a nuke or atom bomb dropped on their heads?!?!?!?
Head Start was based upon the belief that early education would help in later education, which studies validate!
