"To the eyes of classmate Chiyo Sakura, high school student Umetarou Nozaki--brawny of build and brusque of tongue--is a dreamboat! When Chiyo finally works up the courage to tell Nozaki how she feels about him, she knows rejection is on the table...but getting recruited as a mangaka's assistant?! Never in a million years! As Chiyo quickly discovers, Nozaki-kun, the boy of Chiyo's dreams, is a manga artist...a hugely popular shoujo manga artist, that is! But for someone who makes a living drawing sweet girly romances, Nozaki-kun is a little slow on the uptake when it comes to matters of the heart in reality. And so Chiyo's daily life of manga making and heartache begins!"--Page 4 of cover.

A highly enjoyable read! Having picked it up because it looked interesting with a pleasing art-style, I had no idea what to expect, but the comical characters made me laugh out loud every couple of minutes. The simple but clever panelling also allowed me the luxury of picking it up and putting it down whenever I wanted (or rather, had to). I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Ah i just love it so much! Its one of my current favorites and has been for a while now. It's an absolutely hilarious manga and each chapter never fails to make me laugh. I wish it had a larger fanbase and if you're considering it for a read: JUST READ IT

This manga is hilarious! I just finished watching Junjou Romantica and Skeaiichi Hatsukoi at the time (where the characters worked in a manga publishing place) and I was really interested in the process. This book got me interested because Nozaki-kun is a mangaka, alongside some of the friends he makes along the way to help him out! Truly a good read!

I was a huge fan of the anime when it came out, and the manga was currently published in Japanese at the time. All I had were scanlations. I'm glad they licensed the manga, and I went to buy the manga the day it came out. The manga is just as good as the anime, it's really funny and adorable, and layed out in 4-koma comic strip format. Love the art style and I love how they've added color pages in this manga. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a great slice of life and comedy anime/manga, and it teaches a lot about being a manga artist.
