Incredible footage of the liberation of the death camps of WW II. Eyewitness accounts by elderly soldiers and army cameramen who saw and experienced the horrors, often bringing them to tears, even years and years later. Not for the squeamish, there are horrible, graphic film clips and photos.

Stark, powerful material, a strong start, but Night Will Fall loses focus. It's supposed to be about the British filming a documentary about Bergen-Belsen, but it meanders into other documentaries and other locations, and finally into the Nuremberg Trials. I can understand the producers' desire to present a "big picture", but that topic has been well covered elsewhere. I would have liked to learn more about what it was like to film there, and to be filmed -- there are relatively short clips from the aging survivors, who obviously had a lot to say. And what about trying to recreate the documentary, using the original script? Some missing bite and context in the extras: Soviet and American documentaries, and an interview with historian Rainer Schultze.

This is a 75-minute documentary about the heart-wrenching atrocitie at the concentration camps produced in 2013.
For some poritical reason, the most of the shocking footages were stored in Britisch archives for almost 70 years.
Now you can see the real factory of death---some of the most devastating, heartbreaking and deeply horrifying scenes for the first time.
Don't forget to see "Death Mills", which is included as one of the special features.

A very interesting story about the film itself.
Extremely graphic, raw images from the Nazi death camps;
an important reminder of the horrors awaiting the collapse
of rational thought in modern society.
Religion can never replace reason.
This is the film to show those who claim that "the holocaust is a hoax!"

Is a potent documentary produced by the British Imperial War Museum covering the consequences of Nazi brutality towards Jews, Slavs and any man, women or child considered inferior...appalling conditions experienced in concentration camps, and the simply dreadful outcome suffered by so many of those who were interned.

Extreme documentary on the liberation of the nazi death camps. This film is about what the Allies found there when they arrived. Very graphic images. Highly recommended.

This is an amazing documentary. It is difficult to watch, but its extremely interesting. It's horrific and terrible that events like this happened. After watching, it is no wonder that these WWII videos were not shown after the war.

This is one of the most heartbreaking Holocaust documentaries I've ever seen. I now understand why this footage, intended for a documentary at the end of WWII, was shelved for so many years.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: This is NOT a documentary to share with students. The film used in newsreel footage was taking in long sweeping shots. This is close-up, intense, disturbing footage (in black and white and color) of what the soldiers found in the camps. The film doesn't shy away from the transport and burial of bodies, badly decomposed remains laid out for the German citizens and officials to parade by.
