My least favorite Star Wars movie so far, a total copy off of A New Hope. Desert planet, little droid with a mission, giant planet destroyer with a name that resembles The Death Star, and the killing off of one of the best Star Wars characters created! If this movie was the first Star Wars film it would be fine, that is the only reason I didn't give a rating of negative 5 stars. You will not like it if you are a real Star Wars fan. This movie is for the people who have barely seen any Star Wars before.
I do like Han Solo's Quote to Finn on the snow planet. I am tweeking it to fit my comment.
"This is not how Star Wars works!"
At least Rogue One made up for Disney ruining Star Wars. Rogue One was AWESOME!

I thought they did a good job with this movie. The storyline was different than the other six movies, and the characters were similar in some ways, but unique in most. Yes, Kylo Ren does wear a mask, but unlike Darth Vader, he can take it off, and it is not keeping him alive. The part I disliked most about the movie was the inclusion of the old characters. Carrie Fisher just doesn't look like Leia anymore, Harrison Ford virtually has wrinkles on his wrinkles, and Mark Hamill just looks creepy! Honestly, if you are getting second billing in the movie credits, you should be doing more than staring at Rey for, what, thirty seconds? How long does THAT take, even?! Still, I enjoyed it overall. Who couldn't like Star Wars, anyway?

The invisible Force is back along with new & old cast members. I like the combination & always enjoyed the idea that despite the futuristic setting of Star Wars, the events all take place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. It's entertaining & includes some very genuine interactions that appear to be well scripted or possibly improvised.

I love the whole Star Wars series. I loved this film. It may be too scary for young children. I love the computer graphics. I highly recommend this film!

Great to watch again. Everything was great until they decide to blow up the Death Star/Moon (or what ever it was called).

The Force Awakens is the sequel film to the 1983 film, "Return of the Jedi" and was directed by J.J. Abrams. The cast does an extremely good job at portraying their characters, who are well-developed and interesting. Rey, a desert scavenger and Finn, a former stormtrooper are on a mission to return a droid to the Resistance in hopes of finding the missing Luke Skywalker. Kylo Ren and the First Order seek to stop them with their weapon, Starkiller Base. They meet many friends, new and old along the way and must defeat the enemy in order to restore hope to their galaxy.
Although, it is nice to see Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill back in their roles as Han Solo, Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker, the story was not very original and the hype really makes this film popular. If you are a regular moviegoer in hopes for an original film, this movie will be "alright" for you. But if you are an active Star Wars fan, this is the film to watch. The characters are fascinating, and the practical effects and CGI are beautifully balanced. However, if I were summarize the film, it would be a modernized version of the 1977 Star Wars film, "A New Hope." Due to this I give it a 7.5 out of 10. - @papertiger of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Compared to the other movies, this one doesn't make light-speed. A huge disappointment.

The Force should go Back to Sleep. That was a terrible movie.
