Scholar, Athlete, Actor, Singer but above all an extraordinary Activist for Human Rights. Robeson had nothing short of an extraordinary life. As well as his history making performance in Eugene O'Neill's "Emperor Jones " on Broadway, and filmed in 1933 (with screenplay by no one less than Du-Bose Heyward), this disc also contains the documentary of Robeson's life narrated by Sidney Poitier and is an Academy Award winner !!!
Highly recommended.
