Released in 1981 - "Business As Usual" was the debut studio album by the Australian "new-wave" rockers known as Men At Work.

Upon its initial release - This album actually spent a record 15 weeks at #1 (in the USA) on Billboard's "Top 200" chart.

Over the years - "Business As Usual" has sold over 15 million copies, worldwide.

This CD contains all 10 original tracks, plus 4 bonus songs.

*Trivia note* - The flute riff in the song "Down Under" was found to be plagiarized from the 1932 song "Kookaburra Sits In The Old Gum Tree" which was written by Marion Sinclair.

A court case ensued as a result of this finding. But it proved to be only a minor victory for the accusers.

The Men At Work hits you remember, "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under," appeared on Business as Usual before gracing numerous '80s compilations. The non-hits are consistently very good. "I Can See It In Your Eyes" could have been a great single. Lead singer Colin Hay is an excellent singer-songwriter, and has had a long solo career since Men At Work stopped working. Business as Usual and more by the band are also available to download and keep at a rate of five songs per week through Hennepin County Library's Freegal subscription; find Freegal under Online Resources.
