well written story with warm emotional study of characters. Great sci fi story : )

I love both these actors and was expecting more. It's basically a sweet "futuristic" love story. Not one of my favorites.

"2 Thumbs Up!"...
An original, BEAUTIFUL, simple/sexy and very ROMANTIC film which exceeded my expectations... reminded me somewhat of the first 'Superman', flick but set in a futuristic time ride without the evil villains and heavy violence or gore - Neither being cheap, trashy nor sleazy at all and made without any vulgar language: very beautifully made and SUBTLY, 'SEXY'. They had ONLY 4 main characters :) LOL, in the whole movie: IT WORKS - they knew what they were doing since they pulled it off! Amazing. :) Its on my mind.

They were both good, attractive and physically fit actors; I liked what Aurora (Jennifer L.), said at the very end: living for the present moment. See, she found true love with him later on, and risked her own life to save him: so she did NOT take the option of moving back into time to sleep out the balance of her journey to the other side/realm . A true LOVE STORY. Its really worth watching, again , even.
p.s... I am a fussy and opinionated, viewer.

Most sci-fi Adam & Eve stories are post-apocalyptic so this is unusual and more interesting for it. This film brilliantly pulls two people out of time and forces them to interact within the confines of a spaceship which acts as a literary foil for their relationship. The special effects are worth seeing too.

If there are naysayers, there's some truth in what they are saying, but for my money, Ms. Lawrence is a good actor and always a joy to watch. Chris Pratt does well too. It's obvious that if they both fall flat so goes this movie. I would say they succeeded in making it watchable.

Good movie. Realistic space travel scenario. Rather unrealistic ending though.

I like this movie very much. one of the best movies I've seen j-Law in a long time.

Cliché-filled dialogue and predictable plot. However, it's worth watching for the jaw-dropping special effects and phenomenal production design.

The 5000-passenger star liner Avalon is impressive, especially the art deco bar. The rest of the picture "Passengers" is underwhelming.

This was more entertaining then I thought it would be based on reviews and disappointing based on hype.
I did like Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence and did not question why the bartender spilled the beans.....maybe it was part of the overall impending operating failure.
It is one of those movies that I was glad to borrow from the Library and not have spent $$ seeing it at a cinema.
