Nat Turner was a great man. He was a man of God. In the slavery days the men who owned the slaves would break them by raping the men as well as women to get them to submit. Nat Turner should be held as a hero. God spoke to him like he spoke to Moses, sadly Nat Turner was murdered hung burned and his body was cut up and used for relics. Nat Turner tried to free his people. He was a child of God. He just did what the racist rapist slave owners had been doing to his people for hundreds of years. The family who owned him kept his bible instead of giving it to his living relatives. Nat Turner a man of God. Was not a murder he was a Saint. Just born in the wrong skin color.

Almost wordless graphic novel dwells on the murderous violence of Turner's rebellion and the inhuman violence of the slave system that inspired it.
