I remember Paul Revere & The Raiders (NW band formed in Boise moved down to the Oregon coast) from the Where The Action Is! t.v. show (created by Dick Clark with live bands and groovy go-go dancing girls similar to the t.v. show Shindig! - apparently neither are on DVD). Paul Revere and The Raiders dressed in U.S. Revolutionary War outfits for their gimmick and had several hits during their golden era in the mid-1960s. I recognized Kicks, Hungry and Indian Reservation. They also had a Louie Louie cover. You can find some of their songs performed on t.v. shows on You Tube (most seem out of focus!) if you want a sneak peek or borrow the CD! I saw them in the late 1970s - they were doing a retro type of tour, but Paul Revere was on the keyboards! Fun band.

VERY GOOD 2011 2 CD compilation of 36 songs by one of premier NW rock bands. Includes all their hits - and also fun to hear for first time obscure tunes.
I grew up in Seattle on the NW Sound and saw the Raiders in '60s at places like Parkers Ballroom.

Paul Revere Dick passed away October 4, 2014. Paul Revere and the Raiders were originally popular in 1963 to 1967 with hits on the radio. They had "Hungry", "Good Thing", "Kicks", "Louie, Louie", and "Indian Reservation". Their original vocalist Mark Lindsay was one of the best in the business at the time. He later left the band, so from 1970 to present he had used different lead singers. He himself was the organist of the group. He also was a comic and kept people really entertained at a live show. My family and I will miss this Northwest Legend, but we know his music will be heard by countless more generations that discover "A Good Thing"!
